Customers at Dunn Brothers in Duluth, as well as a number of other regional businesses, may have had their credit cards compromised in January of 2019. North Country Business Products shared in an announcement last week that there was a "recent data security incident that may have resulted in unauthorized access" to credit and debit card information at a number of regional businesses between January 3 and January 24 of 2019.

KARE 11 reports that North Country Business Products became aware of some suspicious activity on January 4. After an investigation, they found that malware had been used at a number of impacted businesses to potentially gain access to cardholder names, credit card numbers, expiration dates, and CVV numbers.

North Country Business Products has launched a page listing all impacted businesses, which includes a number of Dunn Brothers Coffee locations, including the one in Duluth. While a vast majority of Minnesota and Wisconsin businesses hit by the breach are Dunn Brothers Coffee shops and Twin Cities area restaurants, Stony Point Resort in Cass Lake, Memorial Medical Center in Ashland, WI, and The Ranch Supper Club of Hayward, WI were also part of the breach.

If you think you may have been affected by this breach, you can call North Country's assistance line for more information at 1-877-204-9537, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), 8 am to 8 pm (Central Time). North Country also provided information about monitoring suspicious activity or placing a security freeze on your credit report.
