The First United Methodist Church had been planning it's yearly roast beef dinner for quite some time.  The fundraising event became more than that on Thursday when the Husky Oil Refinery went up in flames.  Volunteers quickly organized and were able to feed 75 first responders hot meals while they spent most of the day and night fighting the fire, evacuating residents, and keeping residents safe.

They also served around 150 citizens of Superior as well.  It's really nice to see a good group of people helping out their neighbors.  Well done Coppertop!
