What will the newly-rebuilt "Can of Worms" interchange look like when it's done?  The answer to that question will not only come in the form of information, but organizers also plan to have a 3-D model of the proposed plans on display at an upcoming update meeting - scheduled for Monday, January 28 at Clyde Iron Works.  The Open House will last from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with presentations scheduled for 11:45 AM and 6:15 PM.

The general public is invited to drop in when they can, stick around for the meetings, and get answers to their questions.  Staff from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be on hand during the Open House to facilitate the event.

More than 80,000 vehicles travel through the "Can of Worms" interchange each day. The intersection connects U.S. Highway 53, I-35, and the Blatnik Bridge.  Plans for the project include modernization and safety improvements.  In addition, MNDOT officials hope to relieve some of the congestion that occurs there with the design as it is. Timetable for the project is 2020 through 2023.
