Burger King Offering One-Cent Whoppers For A Limited Time

Deals don't get better than this but it will require you to do a little driving - probably.

Beginning Tuesday, December 4th, you can get Burger King's most famous menu item for one cent. This is not a drill. You can cash in on the deal by driving to a McDonald's restaurant first.

Yes, you heard that right. Burger King's "Whopper Detour" promotion requires you to head to their competition and pull up your BK app. Place your order from the parking lot and the penny whopper is yours.

You don't have to go through the McDonald's drive-thru and you certainly shouldn't try to order a Whopper while at a Mickey D's. You just have to be within 600 feet of one in order to cash in on the deal.

Once your order is placed, you will be routed to the nearest Burger King to pick up your meal. The promotion limits you to one Whopper per customer and continues through Wednesday, December 12th.
