I was born in 1983, and that meant up until now that I was considered a millennial.  That frustrated me and many people my age, because we "older" millennials just didn't fit in with the rest of the generation.  We remembered life before the internet existed, we didn't have cell phones as kids, and we still recorded our shows on a vcr.  Luckily, there's now a term for this age group of adults age 34-40, and it's Xennials.

It's a hybrid between Generation X and Millennials.  It's also been called 'The Star Wars Generation,' in an article from The Guardian.
