Be A Leader: Second District Residents Encouraged to Apply for Vacant City Council Seat

Have you ever wished you could be heard?  How many times have you turned to another person and said "I could do a better job"?  Here's your chance to prove it!  If you are a resident of the second district of the City of Duluth, you are encouraged to apply for the vacant city council seat.

The seat that is vacant was previously held by Patrick Boyle. Candidate applications are available in the City Clerks’ Office or you can apply online.

Pending approval at the next Council Meeting coming up Monday, January 27  the appointment process will include an application deadline of 4:30 pm on January 31, 2014. The City Council will conduct candidate interviews on February 6th and rank their top three choices at a special council meeting at 5 pm on February 10th.
