Astroturf Is Installed and Ready for Baseball at Wade Stadium [VIDEO]

Wade Stadium in Duluth has been getting some much needed improvements as of late, including a brand new playing surface.

Astroturf has been installed and the finishing touches are being done now in preparation for the Duluth Huskies season.

Our media partners at WDIO.com had this report on the new surface, which I would think will be a lot faster and create some fun rug burns for the athletes.  However, the maintenance hours and associated costs will go down.
